He may not be a big name future NHLer that is about to break the league, but Scott Stafford is an inspiration for anyone who is living with a disability, and that they can become just as good as anyone else with a little bit of dedication. Scott Stafford lost his left hand at birth when his umbilical cord wrapped around his handed that cut off the blood circulation. It’s called Amniotic Band Syndrome which affects one in every 15,000 infants around the world. Scott hasn’t let this hold him back one bit as he’s played pro hockey for the Wedemark Scorpions in division three of Germany’s professional hockey league as well for the Dundas Real Mccoys in Hamilton Canada.
